We are currently enrolling students in our Spring 2024 Youth classes - Kindergarten - 12th grades. Spring classes are more Musical Theatre-based, accompanied by character work. See below for complete descriptions and to enroll your child. Give us a call or email us with any questions. Snug Bugs, Musical Theatre Basics: Grades K-2

April 4 - May 16 (no class April 11)
Thursdays 5:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.
$150 for 6 weeks

Snug Bug, “Musical Theatre Basics” is designed for young elementary kids to get comfortable in the world of theatre! Students will learn about the basics of musical theatre through activities and class exercises. Snug Bugs is an opportunity for children to grow a better understanding for speaking, presenting, and social skills in a welcoming environment! 

Students will have the opportunity to present what they learned at the end of our 6 week course!

Stage Door Kids, Musical Theatre Basics: Grades 3-5

April 4 - May 16 (no class April 11)
Thursdays 6:00 - 6:45 p.m.
$150 for 6 weeks

StageDoor Kids, “Musical Theatre Basics” is a session of weekly introductory classes designed for older elementary students. In these classes, students will learn skills to widen their experience in the world of theatre. In this course, students will have the opportunity to practice theatre techniques and exercises through activities and hands-on experiences which will help them level up on the stage.

Students will have the opportunity to present what they learned at the end of our 6 week course!

Upper Level: Audition Intensive (Grades 6-12)

April 4 - May 16 (no class April 11)
Thursdays, 7:00 - 7:45 p.m.
$150 for 6 weeks

The Academy’s “Upper Level - Audition Intensive” is a course designed to help middle and high school-aged students hone in on their audition skills. Students will learn tools to help them level up their auditions. One-on-one time will be offered to students to help them find the most beneficial audition material best suited for their voice and character-type. During this process, students will gain an understanding of necessities in theatre while also learning valuable life skills such as communication skills, core theatre values, self-confidence, problem solving, and more!

Students will have the opportunity to present what they learned at the end of our 6 week course!

Enrollment in these classes will result in eligibility for our Youth4Youth program. In Youth4Youth, students will have an opportunity to put a complete production together and perform it for the community. Check out the Youth4Youth page for more information.
