Endowment Fund
An Endowment Fund is a fund that is invested to provide long-term support for a particular nonprofit organization or cause in perpetuity. A portion of the fund is made available annually while the remaining assets are retained in the fund to provide growth over time.
This is a HUGE opportunity for the theaters!
ThumbCoast Theaters has been offered a $1 million endowment with one caveat: WE MUST MATCH IT.
$1 Million Challenge Grant
Awarded in two $500,000 increments
$250K is secured if we raise another $250K by year-end
Of course, that leaves a remaining $500,000 for us to match in 2024. One thing is for certain, fundraising for the arts is an ongoing endeavor.
That is a 3-1 Match! We raise $250k and we’re awarded $750k!

Donations of $1,000 or more
Donations of $1,000 or more will be included on an Endowment Donor Recognition Wall in the Boardwalk Theatre and Riverbank Theatre lobbies. donors will be listed under donation increment levels similar to those seen on our Founding Donors Wall.

Boardwalk Theatre is open! We have a full bar with concessions and only one thing is missing. Cupholders!!! You can’t clap and hold your drink at the same time….and we love applause so let’s fix this problem!
Here’s your chance to adopt a chair!
$500 per seat get a plaque on the new arm furnished with a place to put your beverage.
All proceeds benefit the Endowment Fund. Let’s beat the year-end deadline.
